Off On Medical Leave Until Further Notice

Happy New Year To All Visitors! Due to major medical problems I have not been able to update or maintain this blog. I cannot use my cameras, and it is very painful and difficult for me to write or type because my hands are affected. If and when I get better, I hope to be able to post again. Best wishes for your good health in 2010 and don't take it for granted as I foolishly did before this Parkinson's Disease struck me. We never know what the fickle finger of fate will bring us.

Jon - it's nice to get some news from you, even if it's not the happiest. I wish you all the best in 2010. Hopefully you'll get back on track and be snapping pictures and blogging in no time! Until then, we're thinking of you.

Oh, my Dear Friend!!

I am so sorry you are not well! I've missed your cheery voice and your lovely photographs, and think of you EVERY DAY, as I run down the list on my side-panel to see if your name has moved to the top. Today, it still was not, but as I do every few days, I looked in, and here you were.

If you EVER have a moment or are comfortable to, my e-mail is in my profile on Lawn Tea. It would mean worlds to me to be able to say hello now and then.

I miss you, Faraway Friend, and wish you well and warm and happy.

I do hope you will get better...I am a native of Vicksburg and love taking pictures and meeting other people from V'burg. You are a very good photographer. My husband has Parkinson's also but has not affected his hands yet except for shakiing every now and then. Wishing you better days so you can get back to posting again. Take care Jon. :)

I think of you often, and still look to see if your little sign says "ON."

Janie and all of y'all, Thanks for your nice comments which I really appreciate. Parkinson's is a very cruel disease and it has affected by fingers and hands greatly, thus I find it very hard to type or write.

Thanks for checking in on me. Jon

I'm a first time visitor; I found you accidentally while searching for info on Limon Talinum. Your photos and your garden are beautiful; I'll come back to go through all your older posts later, you have a great deal of fantastic info!
Don't feel obligated to comment back to me, as I see you are having some physical problems. I hope you find some relief and comfort soon.
Wishing you well from deep in the heart of Texas!

Jon,

I think of you so often, and hope you are doing better and better. I always looked forward to glimpses of your beautiful garden, and it's still a bright spot in my memories and imagination.

I plan to re-run the Capote piece next week---it first brought us together, two Christmases ago, and hope you'll look in, though it's a repeat.

Do remember that I think of you, as do a great number of friends and fans who wish you well and warm and happy this Blessed Season.

Hi there,

I saw your comment about the Aerogarden on another person's site.

Did you ever find one?

If not, I sell them and we are even looking for distributors. You might enjoy doing this as a business because people just LOVE these things.
They truly sell themselves.
