Oh What A Tangled Web We Weave......
I don't have the heart to rip out this impudent, tenacious, weedy volunteer morning glory trying to strangle one of my Angel Trumpets simply because it starts my day off making me smile as I go out to pick up the newspapers.

Hey Jon
Got your blog off Gloria's
What a beautiful garden you have! And such an eye for beauty.
Russell would have ripped that morning glory out before I could have said grace over it! I planted the giant morning glories one year and he pulled them all up. He reminded me just how much money we spend yearly to try to curtail their spread on the farm.........
Thanks, Jacqueline, for your visit and comment. Yes, I know about the wild morning glories called "Tie Vines" that we used to fight in the fields on our place at Smith's Station so I can relate to Russell's thinking. But, even so, some weeds in the right place can be beautiful regardless. A rose bush in a cotton field would be considered a weed by many. I had a lady in California beg me to send her some beautiful kudzu vines! Best regards, Jon on 8-8-07
