Variegated Mondo Grass

Another item on my "To Do" list is this clump of variegated mondo grass which will be divided into a jillion sprigs and planted in a shady bare spot in the backyard.

Oh, I've never seen this, just the black mondo...does it flower like black mondo 'grass' does? I have to bring ours indoors as it's not hardy here, then protect it from the cats chewing on it all winter.

I like your blog and your many beautiful pics. The sunset on the Mississippi is beautiful. I just came in from dividing some of my variegated mondo grass. How long will it take sprigs to establish themselves? thanks,

The picture is not mondo grass, it is variegated liriope. I live in FL and have tons of it around. Mondo grass is denser and grows in tight clumps.
