Robert Frost and Bret Harte and Edith Piaf Quotations And Cartoons and Thoughts About Regrets or No Regrets In Life Decisions?
"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I...
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."
'If of all words of tongue and pen,
The saddest are, "It might have been,"
More sad are those we daily see,
"It is, but it hadn't ought to be."
Edith Piaf: "Non,je ne regrette rien."

In the long run I think predestination factors in. Whatever will be, will be. Outcomes of various decisions are just smooth stretches or bumps in the road of life.
Interesting post but not what I was expecting in a gardening blog!
