Pretty Patch of Purple Pansies
As I try to THINK SPRING I remember the saying "Hope Springs Eternal" so I am HOPING these very late planted yellow daffodil bulbs will get a growth spurt soon and bloom this coming spring. My plan was to have a bright combination of colors in this patch. I also know you can't hustle Mother Nature who does as she pleases so I will just have to wait to see what happens.

Yay, you did it! The new template looks great. I like the size of your font too. (I keep changing mine, or trying to, but it's not what I want yet.) Congrats on getting the job done. :-)
Thanks again, Jean, for your advice, tips, and the nudge on changing to my new template. I still have a bit of tweaking to do to get it down pat.

Hi from Southern Mississippi.Your pansies are so pretty, and I love your header it is so wonderful
Perfectly precious!
:D
Jon, your new template design is beautiful, and I really like the size of your pictures.
Your pansies are gorgeous, and, just think ... when your yellow daffodils bloom in the spring, you will have your very own "LSU garden!"
I love pansies, in all colours, shapes and sizes. These will look wonderful when the daffs bloom, too (positive thinking, here).
Thank y'all for your complimentary comments on my new template. It will take me some time to get used to the changes. I have discovered that since these large photos take quite some time to load, I have had to reduce each page to only 5 posts so visitors will not be frustrated by the long wait.
Jon
Good luck with your blooming endeavors! I never did get around to planting my bulbs. But I hope the ones that didn't bloom last year will come up this year.
Hi Jon, wow, your photos are fantastic, I love the big size! The yellow and purple combination will be eye popping too! That just shouts spring to me. Hooray!
Frances

What beautiful Pansies you have! I like to plant them along with my Spring flowering bulbs, as they add early color to the garden. They also re-seed for more flowers next year.I have several patches of the little purple Johnny Jump-ups in the rose garden that I let re-seed each year. I'm getting ready to plant some Tulips, anyone need advice on how to plant them for beautiful blooms in the Spring? visit: http://www.allaboutrosegardening.com/How-To-Plant-Tulips.html
