This Blog Is Dedicated To The Memory Of My Beloved Sister, Lynn

I created this blog in 2006 especially for my dear older sister, Lynn, who lived in Montana, in order for her to see pictures of what I was growing and doing in the garden here in Mississippi. Lynn became seriously ill in recent years and was unable to visit Mississippi very often, so this blog was my way of keeping her updated. Sadly Lynn passed away on 9-27-07 at age 66, but in my heart I know she is in a better place and free from her years of pain and suffering. Tomorrow, 2-12-08, is her birthday, and I am posting one of her last photos as a tribute to her memory.

Very nice of you to pay tribute to your sister's memory by doing this post. She must have been very special to you.

I think the sentiment that you expressed here is so touching. It is hard to lose those we love. I dedicated a section of my garden in memory of my dad. It does help when you are able to do something positive, like your blog, to remember them.

Even though it's been a few months, I'm sorry for your loss, Jon. This is a wonderful tribute that brought tears to my eyes by its graceful words.
We have a memory garden where we plant various shrubs and trees in memory of others. Have you done that too?

Hi Jon, Than you for your tribute to our sweet Lynn. What a treasure she is. I know you love her dearly as do I. Yes, it is wonderful to know where she is and the peace she has now. Thank you for our conversations. Thank you for your continuous support. David
