Pomegranate On My Cousin Scott's Shanghai, China Balcony
Soctt sent these pictures of his pomegranate with its lovely red-orange flowers and the interesting view from his balcony. They also grow tomatoes, hot peppers, scallions, aloe, strawberries in their balcony garden. Mint is grown as well to keep away insects he said.

Hi there. I love meeting other bloggers from Miss. We are down ont he coast and might be able to grow that tree. I sure would like to try, it is a great looking tree. It sure gets a lot of use out of his patio doesn't he? Good idea.
I wonder what comparable USDA Zone Shangai falls under. The climate must be fairly moderate for pomegranate. Interesting!

I was in Memphis on Saturday and bought a pomegranate! It is so pretty. I've been seeing them growing around town and had to have one. Now I'm not sure if I should go ahead and plant it or wait until fall.
